Indians also frequently use herbs and spices such as saffron, garlic, fennel, cinnamon sticks, coriander, cloves, ginger, gold leaf, among many others. Within Indian culture, herbs flavor dishes and act according to their medicinal properties - a factor highly valued in the community.

Although exotic, the cuisine of India is very rich and presents very tasty dishes that deserve to be tasted whenever you are traveling to the country, or even in some typical Indian restaurant.

Roghan Josh Dish

Roghan Josh is a famous Indian dish that would be canned meat with spices.

Main dishes of Indian cuisine:

- Tchai: the most consumed tea in India;

- Roghan Josh: lamb with spices;

- Palgova: it is the most popular sweet in the whole country;

- Goa-style chicken: can take up to 10 spices;

- Pullao: this is the Indian rice so admired by tourists.

- Modak: dumpling made rice flour, coconut and brown sugar;

- MurghTandoori: dish that includes roasted chicken breast and rice;

- Samosa: Indian pastry with thick dough and stuffed with peas and other vegetables.

Curiosities of Indian cuisine:

- As a continental country, there are variations between the main dishes consumed on a daily basis. However, the base with rice and spices remains;

- Most Indian families have an altar type in their kitchens. Following Hindu traditions, it is necessary to dedicate a small portion of the meal as an offering to the gods;

- Tea is the most popular drink in India, it is prepared with various spices boiled in milk, such as masala chai.
