Slavic is a term used to define an Indo-European people who live mainly in the geographical space known as Central and Eastern Europe. This region still concentrates most of the descendants and cultural characteristics of the Slavs. For this reason, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, and other countries that exist in that region today are called Slavic countries.
